The hotel offers three rooms for conferences and other events, all air conditioned. Up to date conference technology are available for the guests.

Room information

All guest rooms have en suite facilities and are equipped, cable TV and a cosmetic mirror. Non-smoking and wheelchair-accessible rooms are available upon request.

Food & beverage

A daily changing menu offers seasonal and regional specialties. The elaborate evening menu provides a rich choice of all favourable dishes including a daily offer of fresh fish specialties.

Area information

The town of Northeim is an ideal golf location, offering two excellent golf resorts in direct proximity. In only a few driving minutes you reach the 9-hole golf club in Immensen or the 18-hole golf club in Levershausen. Furthermore, the hotel is suitable for visitors of the exhibition centre in Hanover. With its direct train connection the exhibition centre can easily be reached from the Northeim main station within minutes. Upon request, Hotel Schere can arrange a shuttle service for you.

By car: - A7 exit Northeim West - In Northeim, follow the Bahnhofstrasse in direction city centre - Follow the hotel route signs (brown arrows showing the direction of the hotel) at the second traffic light By train (1 km): - At the main station turn right into Bahnhofsstrasse - Go straight and follow the pedestrian zone; the hotel is located at the end of the pedestrian zone on your right hand side

Quick description

Hotel Schere is located in the city centre of the medieval old town of Northeim. It offers a unique combination of historic ambiance and contemporary hotel comfort. The origin of the hotel goes back to the Medieval Ages when the location was being used as an inn for tailors. The seven historic buildings of the hotel have affectionately been refurbished and transformed into a 4-star hotel. The hotel has an own restaurant renowned for its excellent cuisine, a hotel bar, and an underground parking garage.
